WEEKLY UTILITY WORK UPDATE
Thank you for visiting this page. There are a number of ongoing projects happening throughout the city. Many of the current improvements are critcal to our city's aging infrastructure, and are a sign of progression. The information on this site is to help residents and visitors carry out their normal activities and avoid traffic during the "high construction" season.

The following construction work will be occurring in Taunton for week ending Friday 11/21/14:
No excavated sewer work is planned for this week.
Installation of water services on Grove Street.
Installation of water services on Columbus Boulevard.
Relocation of water main on Washington St @ Morton Hospital. Note that this work will be done at night, but will likely result in Washington St being detoured at Morton Hospital.
Tremont St – excavated replacement of gas main
Church Green – excavated installation of Gas Main (Night Work)
Washington St – excavated gas main installation at MassDOT bridge project
John St – grading and installation of pavement
Washington St (Broadway to Avon St) – milling and pavement installation
High St (Weir St to Winthrop St) – milling and pavement installation
Cherry St (Winter St to Washington St) – milling and pavement installation
Fern St (Broadway to Washington St) – milling and pavement installation
Main St (@ Taunton Green) – repair of pavement trenches and patches
The Washington St bridge over the Mill River (at Court St) will be reduced to one lane and may be closed for periods during the week.
