All calls to the Board of Health are answered by our Clerk and are transferred to the appropriate party if needed. All complaints are logged by our Clerk on a complaint form and then transferred to the inspector to set up an inspection.
Most of the files at the Board of Health are public record. If you would like a copy of any files, please contact us to request copies. We charge 5 cents per copy and 7 cents for larger pages for this service. Please allow a maximum of 10 days for your request to be finished.
When the copies have been made, our clerk will call you to pick them up at our office.

The Board of Health charges $10 per permit. Please make the check or money order payable to the City of Taunton.
All Mobile Home Parks in Taunton are permitted by the Board of Health Clerk once per year before January 1st.
The Mobile Home Permit Fee is $50 per year.
All Funeral Home Directors in Taunton are permitted by the Board of Health Clerk once per year before May 1st.
The Funeral Home Directors Permit Fee is $100 per year.
