Mayor O'Connell has announced free cardboard disposal again this year at the City's Convenience Center at 340 E. Britannia Street. Starting, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 through Saturday, January 7, 2023 cardboard disposal will be free of charge at the City's Convenience Center. Taunton residents with extra cardboard at the curb can take their material to the Convenience Center during hours of operation. Through the holiday week the disposal fee will be waived. After January 7, cardboard drop-off rates will apply, please see the rate schedule on the DPW's website,
