NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

The City of Taunton will hold a Special Referendum (Election) on April 29, 2023 relative to the proposed Public Safety Building.  

Polls will be open from 8am – 2pm.

HOW CAN I VOTE?

Voters have the following options to cast a vote:

Voters may vote in person on Election Day 

Voters may request a ballot be mailed to them by submitting an application to the Elections Department

Certain voters qualify to vote by Absentee ballot

In Person, Early Voting at City Hall:

Monday, April 24, 2023: 8am-2pm
Tuesday, April 25, 2023: 8am-7pm
Wednesday, April 26, 2023: 8am-2pm

IMPORTANT DEADLINES TO REMEMBER:

April 19, 2023 (Wednesday at 5:00 PM): last day and hour to register to vote, change party enrollment, or change address

April 24, 2023 (Monday at 5:00 PM): last day and hour to accept Vote by Mail/Absentee ballot applications for mailing 

April 28, 2023 (Friday at 12 PM): last day and hour to apply for an Absentee Ballot in person
