Starting Wednesday, April 26, 2023 Taunton residents can pay to drop off yard waste at the City's Convenience Center located at 340 East Britannia St. Yard waste disposal will be available year-round and in line with the existing hours of operation for the Convenience Center, Wednesday 7A – 1P, Friday 7A – 1P, Saturday 8A – 3P.
- Disposal services will be restricted to Taunton residents only (identification will be required);
- Leaves, grass clippings, and brush regulated to twigs and branches no bigger than four feet in length and 1 inch in diameter allowed for disposal;
- No commercial yard waste allowed;
- No stumps, tree limbs, or branches bigger than the size listed above allowed;
- No boxed or plastic-bagged yard waste allowed;
- No illegal dumping permitted;
- $2.00 minimum load or per 30-gallon yard waste bag or per 32-gallon open barrel;
- $25.00 per pick-up truck or per trailer load (charge will apply for each unit if both are loaded);
