Taunton, MA… Today, Mayor Shaunna O’Connell invited the Taunton community to join in celebrating Veterans and military service members at the 3rd Annual Honor Our Military event in the City of Taunton.
“Our community has always stood strong in support of the men and women who serve our great nation. We are excited to once again bring the community together for our 3rd Annual Honor Our Military event to recognize and thank our military service members,” said O’Connell. “As a proud mom of a West Point Cadet, I have a deep appreciation for the service and sacrifice made by those who serve and their families. I would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Grossi-Pemberton for her efforts in organizing Honor Our Military, as well as to TMLP, all of the committee members, volunteers, and sponsors supporting this wonderful event.”
The Honor Our Military event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. behind Taunton City Hall.
