The City of Taunton has a Pay-As-You-Throw curbside solid waste program for residents living in a single through four-family unit. Residents must set out weekly trash collection in a City of Taunton "orange" trash bag in order to receive services. The City does not sell the "orange" trash bags directly to Taunton residents, but there are local retailers across the City that do. Please see attached for a list of approved retailers in the City who sell PAYT "orange" trash bags. For further questions on the City's solid waste and recycle services, please call the DPW at 508-821-1431.
